Fun At School!!!!!

We started out on Thursday reading the apple story..... Ms Kathryn cut an apple and showed the kids the star in the middle!

We practice "sitting like Tommy". Sit tall, hands folded and being happy and quiet. They love this!

We rolled clay into apples!

First Day of School!

We started the school year off with a tropical storm!! So we were stuck inside all day but the kids still had fun!

Music and Movement! We were listening to a song and the kids were supposed to follow the directions in the song.... Here, The kids are jumping!!

We had a great first day! Remember, Thursdays are art and painting days so make sure everyone is dressed appropriately

*Also, please make sure EVERYTHING your child brings to school is marked with his or her name! It's easy to confuse tupperware, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc! THANKS!!

Mailbox Day!

We have Mailbox day once a month!!! 

Please write your child a note and deliver it to the class mailbox. 

We will read it to them during quiet time!

Craft Time!!!!

We can make a craft out of nearly ANYTHING!!! We are asking you to save some everyday household items and bring them to class as often as you can to help us with craft time! Please see the list below and bring what you can!

Magic Letter Pots

These are our Magic Letter Pots. Every child has their own pot and each one is uniquely different. Every week we will learn a new letter and practice tracing the letter. At the end of the day, your child will "plant" the letter in the  pot and the next school day they will have a surprise! Something that starts with the letter they planted will have "grown" in their pot! We can't wait!!!
